Repainting Your Home Interior

No matter the reason that you are looking to paint your space, whether you are selling your house or want a new look, a new paint job can be the perfect way to spruce up your home and add value. A fresh coat of paint can also help to make your home look more spacious.

Nothing beats the smooth and uniform finish achieved by professional painters. Choosing the best interior painter in Saskatoon can be a challenge. Most people don’t know the average cost of interior painting and speculate that a professional will be too expensive. Most painting companies will come and provide you with a painting estimate, free of charge, before signing any contracts.

Our interior painters are happy to offer a free estimate on your next painting project. It will account for the scale, prep work needed, number of coats of paint, and many other variables.

It’s helpful to have a rough estimate of costs when budgeting for your project. To help with budgeting, we have prepared estimated costs for various projects. As always, remember that these are estimates and your actual quote may vary. For a written estimate, please call our Saskatoon office to speak with our client service representative.

Cost of Painting Rooms

The cost of painting the interior of one room will vary depending on many factors. It takes time to remove wall hangings, cover furniture, and patch dings and dents on the walls. This prep work can affect the price. The number of coats of paint needed will also play a large role in determining the price.

Are you changing the colour of your walls? The colour you choose will deturmine how many coats of paint we will need and if we will need to prime the surface. Two coats of topcoat is standard but sometimes an extra coat is necessary to get the colour right.

Price to Paint One Room

$400 – $900

This estimate will vary depending on the size of the room to be painted, the prep work needed, and the number of coats to be applied.

Price to Paint the Main Floor

$2500 – $6000

This estimate usually includes 2-3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room. The estimate will be on the higher end if you would like our interior painters to paint the doors, trim, and ceiling in your home.

Cost to Paint the Complete Home Interior

Whether you are interested in painting your entire house, there are many things you need to consider that will affect your price. As mentioned before, size, prep work, and the number of coats of paint used are all factors to be considered. When painting a large majority of your house you may want to also look at painting, not just your walls, but trim, doors, and ceilings as well.

Many homeowners think their trim is fine until they have new paint on the walls. The contrast between the newly painted walls and the old paint on the trim becomes obvious.

A fresh coat of paint on your ceilings can also completely revitalize your home. Also, if your doors have marks on them that you can’t get off, or the paint has faded, a new coat of paint might be the best option. Whatever you decide will influence the cost of painting your home.

Price to Paint the Whole Interior

$3500 – $7500 This estimate usually includes 2-3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room. The estimate will be on the higher end if you would like our painters to paint the doors, trim, and ceiling in your home.
